Interview with Thelma Wells, a schoolteacher and secretary, concerning her experiences as a resident of Hamilton Park, Texas from 1963 to 1979. Wells discusses her education, her decision to buy a home in Hamilton Park, substitute teaching at Hamilton Park School, Pacesetter, Interorganizational Council, president of the Civic League, traffic access problems, flooding problems, deed restrictions, zoning controversies, and her decision to move out of Hamilton Park.
